Catch will bring its modern classic seafood and steak menu to Dallas in 2024. Naturally, it will open in Uptown at Maple Terrace, a luxury high-rise apartment and mixed-use space currently under construction.

Catch has restaurants in New York, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, with a Miami Beach outpost opening in 2023. “We couldn’t think of a better location to open our first Texas outpost than Maple Terrace,” Catch Partner Mark Birnbaum said in a press release.

Catch is somewhere between a club and a restaurant, with a Meatpacking district location in NYC spanning two floors, with a raw bar, lounge, and restaurant. Most of its spaces are enormous, and this promises to follow that blueprint. The founders told Eater NY in 2013 that they like their restaurants to have an “arrival moment.” And it’s historic Dallas location promises to have ample opportunity to build one out.

Maple Terrace is the former home of celebrities, including Elvis Presley, Liza Minelli, Dean Martin, and Judy Garland, D mag reports. It was built in 1925 and is being preserved as a 22-story luxury apartment and mixed-use space. That includes massive restaurant space on the ground floor — with Catch as the first announced tenant.
