Developer Alamo Manhattan will build the more than $130 million project.

Developers are hoping for a fall groundbreaking for Uptown Dallas’ next residential tower project.

Alamo Manhattan Corp is planning its Fairmount Tower at Wolf and Fairmount streets near Turtle Creek. The $130 million, 31-story apartment high-rise would open in late 2025, according to planning documents filed with the state.

Along with luxury rental units, the project will include ground-floor retail. WDG Architecture designed the apartment tower.

The high-rise will replace small commercial buildings on the site across the street from the new Marriott Dallas Uptown Hotel. Alamo Manhattan also developed the Marriott tower, which opened in 2021.

The Fairmount Tower will join two other high-rise rental projects in surrounding blocks.
