McKinney & Olive is hosting a Trophy Fitness Club Tabata class with Laura Vonderhaar on Thursday, August 12.
Laura will lead you through a high-intensity interval training and cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. Tabata originated in Japan and was initially designed for Olympic speed skaters. It consists of 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by a 10-second break. This 20:10 format is repeated for the duration of the workout.
