Truist Financial Corporation has recently decided to relocate its North Texas regional headquarters to The Crescent.

Truist plans to house regional leadership, commercial, wealth, and specialty banking team members at the property.

The bank will be leasing 15,280 square feet on the tenth floor and an additional 3,070 square feet on the ground floor, intended for a retail bank scheduled to open on April 13.

“This move will provide our teammates and clients with a modern and convenient location that is easily accessible to the many vibrant amenities that make our city so attractive,” said Christian Corts, Truist’s North Texas regional president.

The Crescent spans over 10 acres and encompasses 1.3 million square feet of hotel, retail, dining, and office space, which has long been a hub for many of Dallas’ top financial firms.

The development opened in 1986 and has a range of high-end retail stores, including the luxurious fashion boutique Stanley Korshak and a home decor store.

In addition to its retail offerings, The Crescent also features a variety of dining options, including Moxie’s Grill & Bar, Shake Shack, Sixty Vines, Nobu and The Capital Grille.

In 2022, the owner of The Crescent, Crescent Real Estate LLC, invested $12 million into the property’s renovation, which included upgrading the first-floor lobbies, artwork, lighting, and other aspects of the development.

Truist is moving its regional HQ to the The Crescent from downtown’s Trammell Crow Center, located at 2001 Ross Ave.
