An Uptown Dallas high-rise is the latest property to hit the market in North Texas.

The 21-story Gables Uptown Tower has almost 200 rental units and is located in the heart of the McKinney Avenue restaurant and retail strip.

Built in 1986, it was the first residential rental high-rise built in that area of Uptown.

JLL is marketing the building, which is more than 93% occupied. Rent in the building starts at more than $1,200 a month.

The tower includes almost 15,000 square feet of ground floor retail space.

“Gables Uptown Tower has a one-of-a-kind location providing residents walkable access to the West Village neighborhood and greater Uptown, Dallas’ most high-profile amenity base,” JLL says in its pitch for the property.

The McKinney Avenue high-rise is the latest in a series of major properties that have been put up for sale in North Texas during the last month. Several major apartment communities have recently traded after a slowdown earlier in the pandemic.
