The nearly 70-year-old firm — the largest commercial real estate developer in the United States — has $6.7 billion in active projects, with another $4.1 billion in the pipeline by the end of last year.
Trammell Crow Co. was selected among an impressive group of nominees and was selected based on outstanding quality projects and services, active support of the industry, financial stability, ability to adapt to market conditions and support of the local North Texas community.
Trammell Crow Co. CEO Matt Khourie said the firm will be honored to accept the award from NAIOP, which will be presented at the industry group’s annual conference in Chicago on Oct. 12.
“We would not be here without our development leadership executives, who are carrying on Mr. Crow’s legacy by developing the best projects on the best sites in the best markets,” Khorie said, in a statement.
The Dallas-based firm is developing some prime sites in North Texas, including Park District, a mixed-use development fronting Klyde Warren Park in Uptown, and a number of apartment projects by the company’s residential affiliate along McKinney Avenue.
Trammell Crow Co. is an independently operated subsidiary of Los Angeles-based CBRE, which is the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm.
