The MAC is showing one of the best loved and most memorable of all French films, Les 400 Coups. Directed by Francois Truffaut, this semi-biographical account is a poignant story about the life of a young teenage boy who seeks escape from his loveless, lonely existence by committing minor crimes and creating fantasies. Les 400 Coups was on of the first and most influential films of the French New Wave winning the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Festival when it was release in 1959. Free and open to the public.

Fearing’s Restaurant will celebrate its third anniversary with a one-time-only evening of celebrity chef cuisine and music benefitting Louisiana’s Friends of the Fisherman. This amazing celebration will feature a multi-course dinner prepared by celebrity chefs including Dean Fearing, Norman Van Aken, Robert Del Grande, and Richard Reddington. The chefs will then move from the kitchen to the spotlight and provide the evening's entertainment. Randy Lewis will prepare the remarkable wines and Dallas favorite Willy Warner of Steve Connolly Seafood will also join the team.
